Jams, Jellies, and Butters

Sunrise Farm Market offers a variety of unique flavors of preserves, jams, jellies, and fruit butters.

Preserves, which use large pieces of fruit in the ingredients, so it is the chunkiest of the three options. Jam has fruit pulp, so it is less chunky than preserves.  Jelly is made from filtered fruit juices, giving it a smooth consistency and ease of spreading. Fruit butter is a smooth, creamy, and thick spread made by slow-cooking fruit pulp with sugar until it carmelizes and reduces, creating a concentrated fruit flavor without added pectin.  

Our preserves include apricot, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, fig, peach, raspberry, strawberry, and strawberry rhubarb. We also offer a full slate of "no sugar added" fruit preserves.

Our fruit butters include apple, apple walnut, apple butter (juice sweetened), cherry, peach, pumpkin, sweet potato, and sweet potato pecan.

We also a variety of specialty jams and jellies, including green pepper, red pepper, jalapeno pepper,  Meyer lemon blood orange pepper, pineapple jalapeno pepper, hot pepper raspberry, hot pepper peach, strawberry serrano, mango jalapeno, cranberry bourbon jalapeno, balsamic sweet onion, and pear.
